What does LE Style do?
I am a Beauty and Lifestyle Influencer and my focus is bring value to my audience with tips, tricks/hacks, how-tos, recommendations, etc, along with inspiring and encouraging others to discover, appreciate, and enhance their beauty on many levels which not only includes their physical self, but their mental self, and their lifestyle in general.
What sets your company/organization apart from others?
I’m VERY transparent and NOT a sugar coater, but I’ve learned how to tell the truth in ‘love’. I’m 51, and JUST started this influencer journey (5 months ago).
BUT I STARTED…that is key!
I am ALONE responsible for my contribution to the world and for completing my assignment by God. I’m no longer deceived in thinking that ‘it’s too late, you’re too old, who’s going to listen to you, there are too many people doing this already, do you really think this will work, do you really believe that you can be successful with this? blah, blah, etc, etc.
I am more than capable, and so is anyone that is willing to commit to doing the work. Consistency, diligence, perseverance, integrity, and working and focusing on doing what I do with excellence is truly the key to your breakthrough, which ultimately leads to your success!
What is your slogan and why is it your slogan?
LIVE like your life depends on it.
It simply means what it says….if your life depends on it, why not LIVE your life to it’s full capacity discovering and experiencing EVERYTHING that God intended for you!
You’re only limited by YOU and your small thinking! (Another favorite slogan that I say often is ‘my peace is priceless’, and I’m 100% serious!)
How did you get into this business?
8 years ago when I lost my job of 10 years, God placed it in my heart to start a blog, and then the ‘BUTS’ started.
I don’t know anything about that, I don’t know anyone personally that has done that (remember this was 8 years ago), I don’t know how to do it, I’m not computer savvy (I knew basics), I need a website, etc,etc.
With that, I did NOTHING, but got another job.
Fast-forward to today, my initial goal was to start my YouTube channel (which btw I should have started 4 years ago, but ‘fear’ stagnated me), and although I’d had an Instagram account since 2013, I truly never used it, because I didn’t like IG (I didn’t like the fact that you were ‘forced’ to put a picture in a post, and now I post pictures daily-lol). I was more of an avid FB user.
So I finally started using IG in May 2020 to supposedly ‘jumpstart’ my YouTube transition and point people there once I got it up and running.
Surprisingly, it has turned into SO MUCH MORE than I ever intended it to be, and has been a true blessing as this is where I’ve learned how to take ‘real’ pictures of myself (besides selfies), do my own photoshoots, learn videography (editing etc), and how to engage on another level with others.
And my followers are actually inspiring me to grow more and more on a daily basis!
What drives you to succeed?
I have a desire to fulfill my passion and assignment that God has given to me, and I sincerely believe that we are all blessed with many gifts, and talents which stems from what we are most passionate about.
Therefore, when you tap into that passion, there is a certain anointing on you that makes is ‘easy’ for you to do what you do – not that it isn’t work, but it’s not burdensome, but rewarding and fulfilling. There is no stress, strain or struggle with it.
Ultimately, I desire the FREEDOM that will allow me to do this full time and expand my reach to bless others in various ways.
Anyone can daydream and imagine their lives differently, but that doesn’t actually create change unless you convert those thoughts into actions and follow through!
I didn’t simply want to continue to wander around my daydreams all of my life as time cannot be bought with currency and once you lose it, you can’t get it back!
What do you love most about what you do?
There is joy every time I do it! Simply put, when it’s time to do it, I’m smiling because I’m excited about sharing with others when I’ve done or while I’m doing it(if there is a ‘live’ opportunity)….Simply put, IT’S EASY!
My passion is inspiring and encouraging others to DIG DEEP to tap into what’s actually inside of you(connecting with your truth) – the gift/talent that God has given you – should be used to it’s fullest capacity creating the utmost joy and fulfillment that you can ever experience in life!
Oh it’s definitely there as we were all created and born with purpose, on purpose, and for purpose ….you simply have to tap into it! What makes your heart beat a lil faster? It’s time to live life from the inside out!
What impact (if any) does what you do have on the world and the people in it?
I hear all the time, ‘I can’t, I can’t, I can’t’, and my desire again is to help others to see out of a different lens so they can believe that it is possible for them to live outside of a box and style themselves(hair/makeup/clothing) or different parts of their homes, without feeling overwhelmed by the thought of it.

I know that believing that ‘you can’ is a big deal as many people never try because they are stuck on ‘I can’t’, and you’ve defeated yourself right there.
I believe words are seeds, and nothing just happens, as I don’t believe in coincedences or happenstance. What you say continually will show up as evidence your life later on. Change your words, change your life! Death and life are in the power of your tongue!

What is your inspiration for continuing every day?
I truly believe I CAN do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
My motivation is knowing that although I may not know everything, or have all the answers, what I do know, and what I can share, can absolutely help someone else and answer questions they might have, therefore, enhancing their lives just a little bit more.
Not just giving them more knowledge, but inspiring them to take the knowledge and act on it. Just receiving the thanks I do receive blesses me tremendously!
What’s your primary goal when attracting new business?
To be relational, relatable and relevant. When they see my consistency in showing up everyday, and my desire to be intentional in inspiring and encouraging others, and connecting with them with what I do, that is beauty in itself because we all have a story to tell!
I want to teach others how to thrive, not just survive, in the simple things in life(hair, beauty, and their lifestyle aesthetic) which expands in many areas of their life.
Can you share the funniest/craziest/most surprising story or experience you’ve had while doing what you do?
My birthday was on 10/08 and this year I decided to do my own photoshoot(actually taking my own pictures with a my camera/tripod outside)…so I did so in my Mom’s backyard on the lake, and took many shots with 3 different outfits.
One of the outfits was a dress I’d purchased from Target; when I bought it I did not intend to shop for any clothing, but I was drawn in by a sale. 🙂
Anywho, when I posted the pics on my IG, I tagged Target (I always tag EVERY brand related to my post anyway whether it’s makeup, clothing etc), and 2-3 days later, I had a ‘like’, and the message below from Target.
I know they get a TON of tags in a day, so the fact that they actually saw my tag, acknowledged it, liked it, and desired to post it on their website with the dress blessed my soul! No it’s not a paid collaboration or brand deal (YET! But they are coming 🙂 but it’s a big deal to me, AND it is ‘free advertisement’ as they also post your IG handle with the pic(link to the dress on their site:
