QB Nicco Marchiol, RB Noah Schmidt and safety Jack Howell led the Hamilton Huskies to a huge 42-0 shutout victory over Centennial in the Arizona high school football season opener.
One thing we learned from watching this game: on the pass or the run, Marchiol gets it done.
The Huskies’ QB hit dual-sport athlete Christian Anaya for a one-pass touchdown to start things off, setting the tone for things to come.
Other big names on the night for the Huskies: We can’t forget Sophomore CB (and kick return man extraordinaire) Cole Martin, who has a slew of college offers but isn’t inclined to pick a school just yet.

Another Hamilton Sophomore, Deshaun Buchanan scored two rushing touchdowns for his team.

The scoreboard doesn’t quite tell the story when it comes to the Coyotes defense. There was hustle there, but they were fighting a losing battle from the start.
With 9 minutes left in the third quarter, officials let the clock run, and Hamilton wins this shutout 42-0.
