Sand Springs holds off Sapulpa in Highway 97 rivalry. In a back and forth game, the Chieftains took a 15-14 lead in the third quarter on Te’zohn Taft’s 2-yard TD run. Sand Springs came back late in the third on a QB Ty Pennington’s 1-yard run, and the Sandites never trailed again to get the 21-17 win.
