Ironwood (5-2) matches up with Centennial (6-1) this Friday night.
In their second game of the season, the Coyotes defense gave up 71 points to No. 1 Mater Dei. Since then, they have only allowed 28 points and are coming off back-to-back shutout wins.
Centennial’s offense, led by senior quarterback Jonathan Morris and ATH Jaydin Young, has put up 209 points on opponents since the loss.

The Coyotes shut out the Eagles last season, 42-0. Centennial dominated in the run game, rushing for 390 yards and six touchdowns to get the victory.
Jaydin Young had a breakout game with 125 yards and two touchdowns.

JR. QB WILL HASKELL, 6’3″ 200 – IRONWOOD
Haskell has been garnering quite a bit of attention this season. He has 1,009 passing yards and 16 touchdowns on the year and has rushed for 679 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Ironwood head coach Chris Rizzo said Haskell’s decision-making and ability to “make the offense go” are what make Haskell a great quarterback.
The 6’3″ 200 pound dual-threat quarterback has picked up offers from NAU, Iowa State and Duke this year.
SR. ATH JAYDIN YOUNG, 6’0″ 180 – CENTENNIAL
A three-year Varsity starter, Young plays all over the field for the Coyotes. He lines up at running back and wide receiver on offense and strong safety on defense.

The 6’0″ 180 pound athlete only played defense as a sophomore. His junior year he transitioned into playing both sides of the ball at safety and running back. Young had 552 rushing yards on 57 carries and 16 total touchdowns in 2018. His best game of the season was against Ironwood.
Young has offers from Purdue, Colorado State, Harvard, Yale, Nevada, San Diego State and NAU among others.
