If a quick start was what St. Thomas More was looking for then their offense came in ready to roll Friday night jumping out to a 35 point lead in the first half.
The Teurlings Catholic Rebels just couldn’t quite keep up, scoring 7 to make it 35-7 heading into the break. The St. Thomas More defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up no points for the remainder of the contest.
The victory bumped St. Thomas More’s record up to 6-1. The loss dropped Teurlings Catholic’s record to 3-4.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week St. Thomas More take on Northside at 7:00 PM. St. Thomas More are cruising in on a three-game winning streak while Northside are stumbling in off of five consecutive losses. Teurlings Catholic will be staying on the road, facing off against Westgate.
