Another big weekend of high school football continues on GameTime with a Louisiana round 2 playoff game and two huge Oklahoma 6A-I semi-final match-ups. You can watch all the games on YurView.
On Friday, November 17th a Louisiana Class 5A match-up between the #13 seed John Ehret Patriots vs #4 seed Zachary Broncos. Saturday features two Oklahoma semi-final 6A-I match-ups – Broken Arrow vs. Union and Owasso vs. Jenks.

Louisiana 5A Second Round Playoffs:
John Ehret vs. Zachary
When: Friday, November 17th – 6:30pm CST (pre-game)

Overview: Preview game HERE and HERE. Louisiana Class 5A playoff match-up. The #13 seed John Ehret Patriots enter the game with an impressive 9-3 record. Ehret defeated Haughton in the first round 46-13. Running back Terrell Brown led the way with 198 yards and three touchdowns.
The Zachary Broncos (11-2), opened the playoffs with a 38-0 shutout win against Mandeville. Broncos quarterback Keilon Brown had 280 yards of total offense in the win. The winner of this game advances to the quarterfinal round and play the winner of the St. Amant vs. Airline game.
Oklahoma 6A-I Semi-Final #1:
Broken Arrow vs. Union
When: Saturday, November 18th – 11:00am CST

Overview: Preview game HERE. The Ford Game of the Week and first Oklahoma 6A-I semi-final game. The Union Redskins are the defending 6A Division 1 state champions. They come into this game with a perfect 11-0 record and ranked #1 in Oklahoma. The Redskins defeated the Tigers 26-15 back in week one. Last week, Union defeated Edmond Santa Fe 28-3 with RB Darius Boone carrying the ball for 326 yards and 3 TD’s. Other impact players for Union include two Oklahoma commits – DB Patrick Fields and DL Jordan Kelley along with Oklahoma St. commit WR CJ Moore.
The #6 ranked Broken Arrow Tigers (7-4) are looking for the opportunity to play in their first state championship game. In the first playoff round, Broken Arrow edged last year’s state runner-up Norman North 31-28. Broken Arrow’s Noah Cortes ran for 305 yds/2 TD’s and QB Lafayette Wright threw two touchdown passes to Matt Kaiser of 65 and 32 yards. The winner advances to the 6A-I championship game against Owasso or Jenks.
Oklahoma 6A-I Semi-Final #2:
Owasso vs. Jenks
When: Saturday, November 18th – 5:00pm CST

Overview: Preview game HERE. The Ford Game of the Week and second Oklahoma 6A-I semi-final game. The Owasso Rams are 10-1 and ranked #2 in Oklahoma. They suffered their only loss to #1 ranked Union in a double-overtime 44-41 heartbreaker. In last week’s playoff game, Owasso defeated Westmoore 49-16 with Bryce Cabrera rushing for 176 yds/3 TD’s. Other impact players include two DB’s – Ohio State commit Josh Proctor and Kansas State Commit Wayne Jones.
The Jenks Trojans began the season 0-4 including a crushing loss to Owasso 48-10 in week one. Since then, the Trojans have reeled off 7 straight wins and look to get back into the championship game. Jenks beat Moore 49-16 to advance to this week’s semi-final game. QB Ian Corwin led the Trojans with 15-23 passing for 268 yds/4 TD’s. Wide Receiver D.J. Wagoner had 10 catches for 131 yards and 3 touchdowns.
