New England Recruiting Report and host of “The Upside” podcast Adam Finkelstein recently stated Providence College men’s basketball coach Ed Cooley is a major part of a golden age of recruiting in Rhode Island college basketball.
Cooley’s record and reputation in this area are stellar considering past recruiting wins such as Kris Dunn, Rodney Bullock and Ben Bentil among others.
And both the 2017 and 2018 recruiting classes go a great distance in helping cement Cooley’s growing rep as the man with the golden recruiting touch, especially after landing top 50 New England prospects AJ Reeves and David Duke.
While Cooley wowed Friar fanatics with the addition of Makai Ashton-Langford and Dajour Dickens for 2017, it is the recent additions of Class of 2018 Mass Rivals teammates Duke and Reeves that have local hoops fans salivating.
Adam Finkelstein recently spent some time with both Reeves and Duke on “The Upside” getting to know the guys behind the “hot prospect” titles.
