It’s showdown week on YurView GameTime. Another big match-up and national game of the week on Thursday features two rivals from Nebraska, Omaha Burke (5-0) vs. Omaha Westside (4-1).
Two additional regional games on Friday include Southern Lab vs. Parkview (Louisiana), and Chickasha vs. Newcastle (Oklahoma – Streaming only).

Overview: It’s an Arizona vs. Florida showdown as Ft. Lauderdale’s St. Thomas Aquinas (3-0) travels cross-country to take on Arizona powerhouse Centennial (5-0). The Raiders of St. Thomas Aquinas are ranked #3 in national polls and #2 in Florida. They are loaded with talent with at least 9 seniors committed or have received multiple offers from a who’s who of Division 1 schools. This includes LB Al Blades Jr, the #15 ranked player in the state who will be attending Miami and Florida State commit, CB Asante Samuel. The undefeated Centennial Coyotes are the #3 ranked team in Arizona. The Centennial offensive is built around Boise State recruit Zidane Thomas. A big and powerful back, he ran for over 300 yards against Pinnacle. The Coyotes defense is giving up just under 7 pts/game and are led by Washington commit Dominique Hampton and LB Jordan Ware, who has interest from Arizona State and Northern Arizona.

Southern Lab vs. Parkview Baptist (Louisiana)

Overview: District 6-3A matchup between two Louisiana teams from the Baton Rouge area. Both teams have struggled this season but look to turn their season around in this important district game. The kittens of Southern Lab (1-3) are led by OT Kardell Thomas, LB Damone Clark and junior RB Tyrion Davis, who are all being recruited by schools including LSU. The Eagles of Parkview Baptist (1-4) key players are QB Alexander Aucoin, RB/CB Darell Cyprian, DB/WR Hayden Warren, WR Joseph Roy and WR/CB Sam Russell. The Parkview defense is led by Senior DE Ty Petty.
Owasso vs. Union (Oklahoma)

Overview: It’s an Oklahoma showdown as the #2 ranked Owasso Rams (4-0) travel to take on the #1 ranked Union Redskins (4-0). Both teams are loaded with talent. Owasso improved significantly from a 3-7 record last season. Their strength is the secondary led by Ohio State commit, Josh Proctor and Kansas State commit Wayne Jones. Union is the defending state Champion and current top ranked team in 6A Division 1. They are led by WR and Oklahoma State commit CJ Moore and feature two Oklahoma commits on defense, DL Jordan Kelley and DB Patrick Fields.
