Does Experience Matter?
Slow Starters
Omaha Skutt fell behind two weeks ago and could never catch up, as they fell to Elkhorn South for their first loss of the season. Last week, Elkhorn fell behind early last week – before scoring 17 straight points to end the half on defense and special teams. They had 24 points at halftime, despite only running 12 offensive plays.
Players to Watch
LB Jake Archer – Skutt Catholic
Archer is a tackling machine who very well could break the Skyhawks career record this season. He posted 128 total tackles last season flying from sideline-to-sideline. Could he follow in his coach’s shoes and become a Husker?

WR/DB Bret Lange – Elkhorn
Lange is a threat with the ball in his hands as a wide receiver, but can be just as dangerous ball-hawking when his team is on defense. Last week he even blocked a punt playing on special teams to set up half-ending field goal.
Watch Skutt Catholic take on Elkhorn on Friday, September 15th, at 7:00 p.m on YurView Omaha and Yurview.com.
