Two outstanding programs, two outstanding quarterbacks, and a lot of points add up to an exciting classic high school football game from Louisiana in 2015 between Scotlandville and Zachary.
Both were led by outstanding dual threat quarterbacks. Senior Lindsey Scott Jr. of Zachary was one of the more decorated quarterbacks in Louisiana state history. He was named the Louisiana Gatorade Player of the year after the 2015 season in which he tossed for over 3000 yards and ran for nearly 2000.
On the other side of the field, Scotlandville quarterback Levi Lewis was equally effective throwing and running the ball. Just a junior in 2015, Lewis averaged over 2,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing each of his years as the Hornets quarterback. He has legitimate 4.5 speed for the 40 yard dash.
This game was more like an arena football game. Defensive stops were few and far between and it would come down to who could make a key stop when it counted.
