The 2022 high school football season is ready to kick-off in the Cornhusker State and YurView has you covered with the best matchups in the Omaha region. It all begins Friday, August 19th with an early season showdown between two of the premier teams in the state – Bellevue West vs Creighton Prep.
We’ll follow that up with nine regular season matchups featuring the top teams and players in the state. You don’t want to miss a single week of GameTime prep gridiron action.

Must See Matchups
- Millard South Patriots vs Elkhorn South Storm (Sept. 2) – Both teams had impressive 2021 regular seasons but hope to advance further in the postseason. The Patriots were undefeated going into the Class 4A playoffs but lost in the opening round. The Storm’s only regular season loss was against Millard South.
- Bellevue West Thunderbirds vs Westside Warriors (Sept. 9) – A rematch between teams that made it all the way to the semi-finals of the 2021 Class A playoffs. The Warriors would come out the victor but revenge is on the mind of the Thunderbirds.
- Omaha North Vikings vs Elkhorn South Storm (Oct. 21) – It was a cinderella season for the Vikings. The #16 seed going into the Class 4A playoffs made it all the way to the semi-final round. They face a big test against a tough Storm team.
