2022 Louisiana GameTime High School Football Schedule

GameTime returns to the Bayou State for another season of the best Louisiana high school football matchups.

Tune in for 10 regular season games in and around the Baton Rogue, New Orleans, and Lafayette area. It all starts Friday, September 2nd with Arch Manning and the Newman Greenies taking on the Hahnville Tigers.

We’ll also cover a game in each round of the LHSAA playoffs leading up to the state championships. Here’s everything you need to know to get ready for another thrilling season of GameTime high school football on YurView.

How to Watch

There are three ways to watch GameTime on YurView:

1. 1. Cox customers can tune in to YurView Louisiana (Cox channel 4) Friday nights at 7:00 pm CT.
   2. Cox Contour TV customers can also watch the games for free from anywhere by using the Cox Contour TV app and searching for YurView. Download the app on Apple and Android.
   3. A live stream of the games will be available for subscribers or individual purchases at watch.yurview.com. Game replays will be available to rent or purchase following the game.

Must Watch Matchups

Newman vs Hahnville (Sept. 2): By now nearly everyone has heard about Arch Manning. The Manning name is part of football royalty in Louisiana, and Arch is the #1 rated high school recruit by just about every national publication in the country. The Texas commit opens his senior season on the road against a tough Hahnville Tigers team that finished second last season in 5A District 7 (4-2).

University Lab vs Catholic B.R. (Sept. 16): Fresh off their second straight Division I state title, The Catholic Bears come into this season ranked #41 nationally – the highest of any Louisiana school. But the University Lab Cubs are certainly no slouch, boasting a perfect 14-0 record and Division II state title in 2021. How will these two state champions in different divisions fare in a head-to-head battle? Find out when these talented teams face off on Friday, September 16.

Westgate vs St. Martinville (Sept. 23): It was a cinderella season for the Westgate Tigers. After losing two games during the regular season, the Tigers ran the table all the way to a Class 4A state title – including an improbable win in the semis against 4A powerhouse and top seed Edna Karr. St. Martinville advanced to the semi-final round in Class 3A playoffs and finished overall with a 12-4 record.
